Presentation in practice


Presenting author, you will have 20 minutes to give your presentation, followed by 8 minutes of questions. The 2 last minutes are dedicated for the speakers change, or for the participants, to switch to another topic in another room.

Several computers will be available in a separate room for the authors to put their presentation on the network, before their presentation time, by using USB key or CD-ROM.

Microsoft "Powerpoint 2010" and a "pdf reader" will be available for the presentations, with loudspeakers to play the sounds of your presentation. Each speaker will be equipped with a microphone to be comfortably heard by the audience.

The official language of the conference is the English. The conference papers will be written and presented in English. Although all submitted papers will be considered by the Organising Committee, final acceptance will depend upon the Committee's decision based on the contents of the final manuscript.
The presenting author of each paper will be entitled to a reduction in their registration fee. Speakers will not be reimbursed any travel or accommodation expenses.
All papers will be published in electronic form on a CD, and in a soft-bound volume of abstracts available to all conference delegates. Authors are expected to attend the conference to present their work.


ASME Journal

The editor of the ASME Journal of Engineering for Gas Turbines and Power, Professor Ballai, has invited the organising committee of the Fan 2012 conference to submit suitable papers presented at Fan 2012 to the ASME Journal of Engineering for Gas Turbines and Power for inclusion in a special issue. The special issue is planned for publication before the end of 2012, giving authors the opportunity of seeing there papers published in the ASME Journal of Engineering for Gas Turbines and Power during 2012, and therefore carrying a 2012 reference.
